An important event is just a few days away. Her job involves cataloging and archiving books and artifacts dating back to the 1600s, stored in a room that hasn't been opened for decades.
But the past never stops watching her..."

Dorotea is a story-driven adventure horror game that you can complete in about 15 minutes.
The game was developed, written, designed, and composed almost entirely by me using GB Studio with other tools, all in about a couple of weeks.
This version is a porting of the original Game Boy Color, now ported on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Windows Store.

This game was developed for the "ItaloCurso Game Jam 2025 Caffè Hexpresso"
4th place in "Daily Picks", "Front paged" and Runner-up in "Best of March 2026" on Newgrounds

Importante: support for Xbox One is experimental and it's available since the version 1.1.51. Your console must be update at least to the version 10.0.26100.7815, which includes a fix by Microsoft that prevents multiple games to crash.
